I would think, though, that the age of the dinosaurs speaks strongly against the repeated obliteration of Earth civilisations, or something affecting the frequency of Earth being hit by big meteors must’ve changed in more recent epochs. Isn’t the dinos thought to have lived and evolved for 120 million years. This would seem to indicate that up until 66 million years, eradication had not happened for 120 MY, right?
