  1. Nothing in this story seems to make sense as a lone wolf scenario. The family and relations seem honest and natural in their bewilderment. How does one man get his hands on so many weapons and keep this hidden, especially when he had permission for only a few? How is he supposed to have kept so many hidden from his girlfriend in his home, modify them and transport a large number of them into a hotel room? How are all these firearms supposed to have remained hidden in his room for several days? No room service? A man repeatedly carrying a number of large rifles through reception - without anyone noticing? Where's the surveillance footage? This is beyond strange...

  2. Why would MSM deem it relevant to give the total number of firearms at the three places, two of residence and one hotel room, but not be specific on how many were in the actual hotel room?

  12. Matt Molenda Yes, of course you and I and a dog named blue can figure out ways to conceal or maybe just tone down such a hobby. And his brother did say something about him having guns as a hobby, but seemed to think it was mainly handguns. But the planning takes some coherence and doing. He can't have been a victim of an acute psychosis, because that would rob him of his planning ability and the ability to act normally, both. Even a high functioning paranoid schizophrenic would hardly posses the ability to keep the dissimulation going for years unless living reclused, like the una-bomber. If he was crazed by hatred and able to hide it from his girlfriend, it must have developed more acutely. Therefore there must be some trigger event in his recent past - or something really dark is behind this. Was he per chance terminally ill? Had he gambled his fortune away? Remember we're talking about a well functioning man, wealthy from his former employment... Of the cases I recall, his most closely resembles Anders Bering Breivik, but he was an obsessed fanatic with a huge trail of revealing "manifestos" on the web and felt so right about his gruesome deed, that he had no intention of letting himself be killed. He still seems to think himself some kind of a misunderstood hero. Nothing quite seems to fit here...
