  1. The original piece in the NYT is speculative at best. The other news-outlets simply repeated the story. The allegation is highly unlikely and would have been in effect under Obama already. So even if the CIA are sufficiently corrupt to not brief Trump correctly, Obama should've been briefed about such Russian bounties – and apparently wasn't. The story has the hallmarks of yet another disinformation scam, attempting to somehow hustle birdbrain Biden through a candidate debate and get him to win.
