Why was Europe tropical and Africa more seasonal, please? Was the Earth tilted differently?

Xenopithecus Oh, I'm well aware of the importance of the golfstream Northern Europe from freezing, but how would ocean currents account for Europe being tropical and Africa cooler? That seems a bit of a stretch. And btw don't get me started on climate alarmism. There's literally zero scientific evidence of any man made heating and the models used must be severely flawed, seeing how literally none of their predictions have held true. (Ice free North Pole sailing by 2012, polar bears dying out by 2010, the Maldives submerged by 2018, our children not knowing snow by 2002). There's actually a slight decline in average temperature in the US , a global decline in forest fires and the US had its longest ski season last year. Everyone forgot how beneficial CO2 is to plant growth. The greening effect is completely ignored in the models, and techniques are now available that will allow turning deserts green and useful (already begun is north Sahara and The Gobi Desert) Meanwhile people like Obama and Gore are buying expensive seaside property, apparently not believing a word of their own fearmongering rhetoric about rising sea levels...

Stop saying "forest rockets" and speak distinctly, slower and more engaging. What's the rush? Use Attenborough as the ideal. Please remember also, that amateurs like myself may need understanding of the meaning of Greek words to learn all the strange terms and names. Tell us what "miocene" means, fx., to fix the period in our memory. Use pauses to let us digest essential information. Everything else is brilliant, very interesting and highly informative.
