What a load of pretentious nonsense:
Britain is either going out hard or ending up deciding to do a 180 and stay, that's it, period!
Sea-levels may rise slowly, and Danes will cope and/or slowly emigrate, no biggie!
Or we may all be in for falling sea-levels, because a long overdue glaciation has been held at bay by industrial emissions for a hundred years. Now let's talk corruption!
Where does the wealth, created by hard working people, disappear to?
Why do our elected representatives keep on sprouting laws to increase surveillance, reduce transparency and increase censorship? – especially since they apparently are aware of the need to do exactly the opposite! Could it be that they've a lot of skeletons to hide?
Why can't news organizations seem to investigate, report and refrain from regurgitating lame narratives without merit?
Get us some real, neutral information so we may elect better leaders! The day I begin to care what some news anchor thinks about anything, is the day they get their predictions in the vicinity of the target.

Corruption is self-propagating. Russia can't possibly be as important in that respect as our politicians would let on! The land is far too pressed financially to have significant clout in this sphere.
This insufferably paranoid Russia-nonsense is used to deflect from the basic, rampant and widespread corruption in all Western Hemisphere politics. Not that it's not widespread in the Eastern, too, likely worse and more institutionalized, it's just that the frequency and scale is inaccessible and outside our influence – unless we go with war and trade wars – which still doesn't solve any of the fundamental problems, merely creates a reset through incredible destruction and losses for all involved.
Politicians are looking more and more like reckless egomaniacs by the day: They love to blow distant, foreign problems out of proportions, apparently to hide their own bewildered incompetence, and to wallow in theoretical, dubious and purely ideological intricacies, while stringing their voters alone on empty promises instead of engaging in open, fact-based dialogue based on transparency, to address real, accessible, practical problems.
Perhaps they simply can't handle the complexities of modern reality, but I don't care.
If that's the case, get out of politics, find a job as bartender or truck driver (don't become a school teacher, they need to know love and joy) and let whoever else is there take up your slack! It can't possibly become worse.
