I think the Vatican capable of anything, among many reasons, some historically well known, because it has been protecting its childabusers for centuries. I also think it necessary to revoke its sovereignty and for the international community to repossess its vast library. This is partly because there's reasons to suspect huge, intentional suppression of historical events going all the way back to the dark ages, but mainly because we all are in dire need of truth to ensure a viable future for our children and grandchildren.
