This autonomous car is severely lacking in peripheral vision and clearly is partly at fault, driving much too fast for its very limited visual field at night. It also seems to lack the ability to steer clear when stopping is impossible! The woman's attempt of crossing is however also ill perceived at best - crossing at an angle, her back turned and misjudging or ignoring the speed of the approaching vehicle ... But if we're to accept even experimental drives of autonomous vehicles, they need to be marked with alerting signs, lit at night. They're obviously very dangerous! The human reserve need a heavy fine. She was completely worthless, probably texting while driving...
