They don't spend the time and effort to investigate anything? And accordingly it has become too easy for government officials, politicians and law enforcement spokesmen to avoid answering challenging questions? Come to think about it, it doesn't speak well of their professional pride nor confidence. Just recently the FBI arrived in Mandaley Bay to supplement the local sheriff Lumbago, sorry, Lombardo, saying that all possible help from the public was dearly wanted. Three days later Lombardo stopped taking questions at the press conferences. A few days later the press conferences stopped entirely. Then the MSM were completely silent for months on end on "the biggest mass shooting in American history"! Dafug? Or look at the FOIA request by Judicial Watch for the five missing months of the Strzok texts. First the FBI ignored it, then denied they had the texts, then said they didn't have the resources to retrieve them - and when JW insisted FBI was bound by law to deliver, the answer was "so sue us"! But two hours after JW did file for court order, the texts were miraculously "retrieved"... And now we're supposed to clamor for #releasethemomo ? I believe I can guess what that memo holds! Confirmation of all we suspected of FBI directors and AGs abusing their entrusted powers politically and not complying with the laws. No, release it already! But what I want to know is exactly who held up the release. Schiff did of course, but did Trey Gowdy? Were there any democrats wanted to release it? How said AG Sessions? Trump himself? Too many secrets spelling too much corruption...

Then comes "the couple well know for extensive charities" and I don't know what to do with that at all! They were rich They were killed - as targets? 17 employees had keys No forced entry Strangled by belts in a sitting position by the humongous indoor pool Targeted killings... Hmmm... Maybe "targeted" is just a buzzword to hide police bafflement. If I'm to be kept guessing, I'd rather not have heard at all. The press should either inform me or shut the fugg up!

  5. Stephen Murphy Yeah, well... At least I discovered what "targeted" implies. Police seems to think that the arrangement of the bodies and the tortuous death mode indicates at least two killers and the sending of a signal warning. That probably means sexgames could be excluded? If a murdersquad of professional killers was contracted for a signal takeout, the possession of keys doesn't mean much. So you're probably right. Something grizzly will be discovered. But maybe not made public. My basic take in this remains unaltered. I don't like the media approach. It smacks of sensationalism. Either do a serious investigation and deliver a comprehensive analysis or restrict yourself to mentioning the police release and later do a follow up. But journalists always think it important to be first with the worst. Not what I prefer, though. I even belive that by stirring up emotions 24/7/365 - and people generally are empathic - they do society as a whole a disservice. It blunts discernment and elevates basic anxiety levels - and gradually promotes cynical apathy balanced against vague anger - contributing to what's labeled "stress". It's probably not healthy, but more to the point: Perhaps it's outdated?
