  3. Hermit Oldguy Calculations aren't hard for most of scientists. You're talking nonsense... We have a moon, remember? It causes seas to rise and fall. All sensible measures are by necessity averaged to eliminate this variation. Same goes for el nino. The global average is of course only measurable by the dedicated satellites. Pack it up, grumpy. Your just being stubborn and irrational. If we couldn't calculate a mean, global sea level, measuring would be completely meaningless...
