Liberals: »Dead people can’t argue!«

@10mikemike89 Yes, strange how that works out…

@john1499 He majored in liability? I heard it was in finance.

@MattU4970 Well, my dead parents and grandparents better not have voted for Biden! They’d never live that down...
2
Jeremy Mettler You make 0 sense; democrat I presume…
2
@numadicdeuter6096 Yes, they aren’t liberals in the true sense at all. Their pervasive common trait is that of a demented hive-mind imo…
2
@TroutMstr40 … often referred to as »liberals« for some obscure reason...

Jeremy Mettler 😂 Hush, now…

@numadicdeuter6096 If the laws are fair, lawlessness is a bad thing, but we must also remember to evaluate if they really are. Crime and punishment is a deep-rooted and complex question as well. For example when Europe was hit by the plague three times with approximately 270 years in between, killing half, a third and then a fifth of the populations, Kings and Noblemen learned about pardoning prisoners: Their lands lay unplowed and barren – there were no workers, see?

@milkman No »eminent domain« was needed. The point was never if they could or should begin pardons. But before the plague even a small crime of need landed you in jail for life – the only mitigation being that life in prison was short. Today’s injustices are more about different tiers due to wealth and influence. The justice system fails to treat people fairly, disregarding their positions. This fuels corruption, which then tends to make lawmakers introduce even more loopholes designed for their »friends« – or their voter base...

@milkman Btw have you read the short story named »Milkman«?

Morrison Lange No, it’s the damndest thing…

@numadicdeuter6096 I’m not trying to justify anything and I’m not pushing any political agenda. I’m just providing some historical facts with such long history the US didn’t even exist. I believe I understand some things about the world (but don’t we all?) and about the US, but I’m not attempting to advice anyone. I have my sympathies firmly dialed in on Kristi Noem and find the democrats' abuse of criminals and illegal immigrants to further their clueless bid for power at any price truly abhorrent.

@milkman Are you debating me or talking to yourself? You keep rebutting things I never said which you just associated.
1
@milkman I think you’re automatically looking for hidden agendas or implied points. There shouldn’t be any such. I’m just sharing my deliberations on a subject which is both complex and important. You do have the right to interpret this based on America today, but that was not what I was looking for. I don’t much care for opinions any longer. I see them as obstructions on the path to necessary solutions – necessary imo because the laws are proliferating exponentially while getting less and less clear and the courts becoming both more corrupt and politicized.
1
@milkman Well, I did read my own comments and had no difficulties, but I’m biased and knew what I meant. Maybe you just overlooked an »if« here and there in sentences which were too long?
