  5. +faultroy Yeah, more or less so, I agree - except on one issue: This has got to stop! Now! Why? Because no leaders may wield such power. The simplest way to realize this is: If power and influence is handled clandestinely, one sidedly and unlawfully, democracy becomes tyranny in disguise and gradually loses to undisguised tyrannies by lack of efficiency ! We need spiritually much, much stronger leaders who know that unwavering love for truth and life is the admittance ticket for mankinds continued excistence and further development. It is not given! It's not simple. It's not easy. It takes all we've got. But the time is now and there can be no more fighting amongst ourselves. We must let the love of life's truth unite us above power, greed, pride and fleeting pleasure. We, homo sapiens, must grow up!

  7. +Steve Angell I think that's exactly it, righ on the nose! Except for one small detail: He didn't do ALL he could do! He could have done what many of us have done and are doing still. He could have refused to do what he knows is wrong! And do you know what? It often isn't as bad as you might think and, we don't all get killed for speaking the truth and saying no to injustice! Sometimes we get protection from unforeseen powers (no, 😄, not foreign powers) just from good people who see the need and lend a hand and sometimes it may seem suspiciously like divine intervention, even - but the main thing is to make up your mind when push comes to shove: Do I fold or do I hold? I say: Be unafraid and hold! Hold on to your soul.
