The former labor secretary made one point to which I can agree: The reduction of tax-law complexity helps the average citizen much more than the corporate businesses. But I have no confidence that democrats would follow through with such reforms. They’ve said the same in Europe for decades, but done the opposite – as they always tend to. If I’m honest, I believe there’s an inherent disconnect in democrat minds between talk and action. They seem content with symbols, empty promises and temporary lies. They’re apparently unaware of the necessary trust any businessman must establish with customers to remain in business. In this they are similar to big tech, who gradually became so powerful they now think they can bully customers with impunity.
