@oml81mm Unfortunately for you, the Isle of Man belongs to the UK as a crown dependency - again, the key word being Dependency. It is not a sovereign nation, it uses the Pound Sterling as currency, passports are UK, defence is UK, and trade/economics fall under the UK Jurisdiction - in short, it's the UK. I don't CARE about internal word usage about a constitution - it means NOTHING so long as citizens of the Isle of Man hold UK PASSPORTS, use the UK currency, are defended by the UK Ministry of Defence -- PERIOD. You're not special, you are not a sovereign nation and that's the end of it. Now run along, you've been "Done and baked" here for a long time. Either you're intellectually challenged or just being stupid - either way the UNION JACK flies over Stanley and until that's taken down, currency introduced, new passports indicating an independent nation, it's own defense force recognized from outside the UK Ministry of Defense, and recognzied by THE UNITED NATIONS as a sovereign state - you AZZ belongs to the UK! Hopefully this message won't be "deleted."

@oml81mm It's part of the UK -- let me know when it is recognized as an independent nation by the UN, has it's own defense forces, has it's own passports for it's citizens, has it's own economic/trade status dependent from the UK and has it's own PM/President independent of any state to include the "CROWN" of Great Britain who sits in London, UK. I don't care about some Isle of Man Constitution - it's irrelevent on the Global stage - the entire UN recognizes the Isle of Man as a UK Territory - period. When you remove the Union Jack Flag that's flying over Douglas, then come let me know. Until then, be quiet.

@Joseph-pt9yn insecure? If I wanted an opinion from an asshole, I would have farted. They are labeled “dependencies” for a reason as they are dependent on the UK who overseas them. Suggest you look up the definition of hegemony first which includes the terms control, authority, mastery and dominance. I’m sure life hasn’t been easy for you as I’m most certain, you were older than your teachers by the time you reached the 6th grade; sarcasm flows in both directions. Where does this "crown" reside and what ministry has the task to defend this "crown" as a UK/BRITISH citizen? UK/BRITISH - I've seem to have heard that somewhere before....OH YES! UK, another coincidence and well, the UK is responsible for the defence of the Isle of Man and for providing consular services - wow! what a coincidence again! Newsflash! @oml81mm AND for the 15th time - The Isle of Man is a dependency under the UK - it is NOT A SOVEREIGN NATION. Again, it's citizens are of BRITISH PASSPORT HOLDERS, defense by the UK Ministry of Defense, King Charles recognized as the crown to which the ISLE OF MAN is under. So in short, it's parts of the UK under crown dependency. So sorry, but you're not special in any shape form or fashion. When the Union Jack stops flying over Douglas Harbor, come talk to me.
