Here's what I don't understand --- why is it that ONLY MEN are supposed to give up their seat for a pregnant woman, when there are PLENTY of younger WOMEN on that train that should be giving up THEIR SEATS first. It goes by age -- I have YET TO SEE any women give up a seat for an elderly man, NOT ONE WOMAN gets up for elderly men -- it's always younger men who get up for either an elderly man or elderly woman. I have seen ELDERLY men give up their seats for a pregnant women when a younger woman/girl who sat next to the ELDERLY man the entire time, didn't get up -- why is that ladies????? Do all of you think that an ELDERLY man has no right to get a seat simply because you're a younger woman????? That younger woman learned a hard lesson that day, because I GOT UP and told the younger woman that she better get up and either let that elderly man take her seat OR that she get up and let the pregnant woman take her seat - which one is it going to be? She pretended not to have noticed, but I cut her game off before she even started it. Rest assured that both elderly man and pregnant woman were seated. So ladies, take this as a warning - don't you ever look to a man to give up his seat before viewing the entire seating area on a subway - if you see younger men/women - ask both of them if they would be willing to let you sit and don't just ask the men - you ask the women just the same as that's what equal rights is about - welcome to the real world and start acting like you know it. That man in the video should HAVE NEVER GIVEN UP HIS SEAT as when you look in the background, the number of younger women of his age, could have easily gotten up to help the pregnant woman. Equality is the whole bag ladies, not a pick and choose kist when it's convenient for your gender.
