  1. Immigration in Europe was a huge failue under the EU vision as: a. Not enforcing the already existing immigration laws that each EU Member state already had on the books b. Allowing undocumented immigrants via 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd party countries to which they traveled from. These immigrants should have been checked and controlled at the first border they met outside of the country they departed from - this was not enforced. c. Not distinguishing what is an: 1. Economic Immigrant: Immigrants looking for employment 2. War Refugee - Self explanatory 3. Asylum Seeker for Politcal Reasons not arriving from a war torn nation 4. Immigrant who already have existing relatives in the nation emigrating to. The EU demanded that all member states allow immigration despite the fact that each nation has particular needs, limited resources or simply wanted to keep enforcing the existing rules as they have always done (i.e. Poland/Hungary). A disaster these nations now have to repair which should have never occurred in the first place. Also, there are some cultures that cannot blend with others - immigrants are supposed to blend it and conform to the nation's laws of which they are emigrating to -- this has not happened thus causing a sharp increase in violence, crime and misunderstandings of cultural backgrounds and ideology. The solution would have been quite simple -- ENFORCE the existing immigration rules that were already in place to begin with
