@shakirjoseph9115 No man has to sign a birth certificate is he doesn't want to. If the mommy insists, then she'll have no problem with having a DNA Test to prove he's the father. Strange though, most women are against DNA tests too - hmmmm, wonder why?

@respectdawildo_danjones508 EXACTLY - well written. I'm always amazed how some of us guys take so long to realize this. Introduce a prenup and if she reacts like this, dump her that DAY - no going back as it is a clear sign, what she's really after.

@calholli But the goal is the same - financial security until someone else comes along with more money - then you're dumped divorced and paying her alimony and a certain percentage to upkeep a lifestyle for her that you gave to her to begin with. Meanwhile, she's getting money from the new one and you too. For women, marriage is a win-win financial situation

@flame9826 Exactly. Women should wonder WHY this became a law in TN - so many men have been deceived and paying for the children not theirs. The state has been enjoying this because, no state funds are then required to support that child. This was wrong from the beginning as it punishes men and absolves women of any and all responsibilities of lying and gaming a system - not anymore, at least not in TN. All 50 states should immediately make this a law and each child shall have a DNA Test. If a woman refuses, she can claim any man, but she'll get no child support or enforcement of child support until a DNA test can be accomplished. Watch and see how many disapproving women become "quiet" when no monies come in.

About damn time - all 50 states should make the DNA Test mandatory - it makes ALL parties involved RESPONSIBLE for the child in question and stop paternity fraud - a woman’s trust is NO excuse and women know it too

The reason in the first place the new laws are coming in place is the ABUSE by women and state claiming false fathers and knowing perfectly well they are not. As I said before ALL Marriages in the US should have a prenup and when the children are born in or outside of a marriage a mandatory DNA test should be accomplished. What are you women so afraid of? A Prenup protects women too and I'm certain a DNA test doesn't bother anyone so long as they've been faithful right???? What's then the problem ?

@OceanFrontVilla3 So anyone can be named a father against his will and not even know it...that's a shitty way of claiming a birth certificate. Again, it's only women who have an issue with getting a mandatory DNA test, because they're the ones that have been abusing the system so long.

Women and have state have forced men to take care of children that aren't those so bad that new laws have to be enacted. 100% DNA Testing on all kids and 100% Prenups in all marriages - this way both genders are fully protected right ladies? Strange how only the women are screaming against the new laws. No man's name should be placed on ANY birth certificate until a DNA test is accomplished - this way the REAL father will support the child and not the man, the woman lied on because she knew the real baby daddy wasn't crap to begin with. The State can no longer just "force" a man to take care of children that aren't his - that law should have NEVER been enacted to begin with. I'm sure you agree snowbird -- 100% DNA Testing and 100% Prenup - whatcha afraid of??? The laws would protect BOTH genders at the same time........don't like that now do ya?

All states should be mandated to follow this law - no exceptions! The DNA Test determines the father and sets the legal course for judicial actions in support of the child. Women who protest this have ZERO grounds as it only helps them in determining the parties for the legal responsibility of the child’s welfare. If the woman refuses to submit to the DNA Test, she will be ineligible to claim child support. Women need to ask themselves why this law came into effect in the first place - too many men are paying for children that aren’t theirs based on nothing more than lies and false claims. Mandatory DNA Testing will eliminate all this and place the legal responsibility of the child’s welfare to the appropriate parties. How anyone can have an issue with this, needs their IQ challenged
