  2.  @k7j6  I have a cousin who lives in Portland and his wife comes from Eugene - she works at Intel in Hillsboro. I went there in 2007 and enjoyed the gorge along the Columbia River and the winding road which took us above Portland. I however, wouldn't want to live there. I had the opportunity to be in C-Springs Colorado - I wasn't impressed as it's very small and overpriced. Denver was ok, but it's just like any other urban area and the winters are rough. If you go south to Pueblo, it's like you stepped into anothe state altogether. I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do - and good luck
