100% CORRECT - I too have Ukrainians living by me and 3 of them have already gone back to the Ukraine for "vacation." What's also unknown is that the Ukrainians get BOTH rents paid for by the German Government (Their home rent in Germany AND their rent at their property in the Ukraine). How does one take vacation to a "war-torn" country who's category as such, affords Ukrainian refugees full social service benefits here in Germany?? The Ukrainian women are also afforded two hair salon appointments per month which German women on welfare don't get at all. Taxis, buses and public mode of transporation is paid for - Germans on welfare don't get that and yet these refugees get to go back to the Ukraine for vacation?? My neighbor is a nurse and her husband just arrived from Lviv - he's an electrical engineer and is now working at Siemens; they are STILL on social services as Ukrainians listed as refugees. Neither one of them has seen a Russian soldier, nor has Lviv been severely affected by the war and to date, they've both been back twice for "Vacation" in their BMW 730 series. Let a German on welfare buy or lease that same car, and he/she will be sitting in front of the Finance Office first thing Monday morning with all social benefits suspended until further notice. I do sympathize with Ukrainians that had to flee their land and they should be afforded help - but again, Germany doesn't distinguish what a refugee is versus an economic immigrant which my neighbors are. As such, Germany's social system is overburdened and cannot take of it's own citizens and Berlin wonders why radicial factions are on the rise in the country.
