Hint: the city’s name doesn’t start with the letter “R.” Modern architecture is fine so long that it harmonizes and is not depressing or brutal😊

  3. Dresden was never considered the most beautiful city of Germany before or after the bombing. It was however, known as the Florence on the Elbe for its beautiful Altstadt. Today, Dresden’s Altstadt has been beautifully restored, but the city as a whole, is not Germany’s most beautiful city.
