@georgeg9240 That's because rules are not enforced. If the rules were enforced by a Euro 50-100 Europ fine for no headset, talking loud on the phone or blaring music, you'd see how quick it would stop.

@abdulazizabdunasimov8978 there’s no efficiency or desire to improve or embrace needed change

@ugrasergun excellent - I do the same; I've seen so many instances where the cellphone doesn't receive a signal and the ticketmaster has to double back until the train get's near an urban area.
1
@ true and when internet connectivity on the train fails? I agree with you, I print mine as well
1
@benja_mint Very true. This is why protests in Germany are so limited in scope. If their government tells them they must only wear green underwear on Fridays, 3/4ths of the population will do it without question.😁😁

@Nana-wr3xe Not true - I see MANY young Germans have it printed as well.

@Nana-wr3xe True, but what happens when there's no signal on the train? I have seen this happen time and again traveling mainly through eastern Germany. Then the first thing that comes out of the ticket control person's mouth is to "always print out a copy just in case the signal isn't available."

@ I do too - better safe than sorry

@thihal123 Good idea - I do that too. I have seen one too many times traveling on the train, that no signal can be reached leaving the ticketmaster to wait until a zone can be reached. It's always good to have a printed copy.

@val-schaeffer1117 100% correct - Germany weaponised these factors to exclude "certain" persons from occupying positions of high earnings and managment. Germany tends to "forget" it's prominence after WW2 "Wirtschaftswunder" was possible by war reparations forgiveness (West Germany only), and a huge foreign labor force that basically performed all the jobs, the Germans themselves didn't want to do. The discrimination in Germany's workforce is alive and well which is now hindering it's economy due to an ageing workforce and skilled foreigners seaching elsewhere for employment.

@elliek5350 It's even more worse when they put their feet on the seat without shoes and the smell of the socks are so pungent that it can peel the rind off 20 potoatos in 5 seconds or less

@tricatame7427 YOU said it best -- they are robots. No emotions, no independent thinking or pathways for ingenuity or creative brainstorming. You do as you're told and never deviate from standards, despite the fact that the majority of them are outdated, non-competitive and simply asinie that only serves to hold innovation back. The mindless bureaucratic functions in Germany are astounding - unbelievable.
1
@effexon HAHAH! AI or automation in Germany - forget it! Here it's paperwork, no fax, no acceptance of email documentation and certainly no AI. German Bureaucracy doesn't even know what an electronic signature is; let alone able to function if someone goes on holiday - your paperwork stands still until they return. The Sick Leave from burnout is commonplace and getting worse - you cannot exhaust your workforce to the brink with minimum pay and high expectations - eventually the wheel will dislodge from the cart.

@Gemmagems577 Very true and these are the same people who wonder others look down on them for their lack of consideration or ignorance.
