@joshuagray7815 I mean, they really seemed like they pretty much had it under control. I feel like the police were more interested in her not filming, than actually assisting.

@mik6908 lol that wasn't a warning shot.

@joshuagray7815 You have no idea what kind of training she received, where she works security, or what she's insured for. If the suspect breaks her finger, who pays for that? If she gets involved and messes it up, causing an officer to lose his life, is she open to legal liability? Do you really believe she's a "gas station security guard"? This is literally just some lady recording the police. They didn't like her recording and tried to exploit the uniform that she's wearing to make her stop. They already had the suspect under control and didn't need her assistance when they made the request.

@dwlopez57 I don't see it. When the officer says "stop filming & help me" He is already in a very dominant mounted position and controlling both of the suspect's arms. Hell, the second officer seems to be a bit disengaged and not knowing what to do with himself, given officer #1's dominant control. Both officers appear to be heavier than the suspect. The suspect is resisting but not very competently. And at no point do I see the suspect anywhere close to getting the officer's gun. It seems extremely unlikely that the officers would ask for assistance from a random female security guard under those circumstances. Typically when an officer is scared for his life and needs assistance he will shout help very loudly in every direction and look in more than one direction for assistance. It seems more likely that the officers were alerted to the security guard's recording when the suspect yelled to her "Record this!". At that point officer#1, upset by the recording attempted to shame her into stopping the recording by couching it in an insincere request for assistance. Perhaps you're looking at a different/better recording?

@djayscruggs8786 She was off duty anyway. She didn't work at the gas station, she was literally just some customer. She had zero obligation in this situation but the head of the police Union decided to use her uniform against her. This was 2018. Before George Floyd, or the BLM protests. So the police were still trying to scare people into not recording them.

@dwlopez57 He seems to be staring right at her, and his eyes follow her as she moves from his side to in front of him. Seems like he was talking directly to her.

"No ma'am, there's shitting in the bathroom. The shooting is outside."

@cozyguineagames2465 dummy, if the chance of dying in a car accident was 1 in 500 cars would be banned forever. It's much less than that.

@flaylikespikachu15 No attack. The window had already long been closed. The customer clearly just spilled his drink on the window as an act of vandalism.

You're too smart to be watching Inside Edition bro. PS: I wouldn't be surprised if this story & footage was prepared by a Tesla marketer, as it comes off like some kind of advertisement showing off the Tesla's feature while positioning it as some sort of unique object of envy above and beyond similarly classed luxury cars.

@bradlay1292 No one claimed he wasn't resisting. However, he was not "reaching down to his belt the whole time" because the officers very quickly got full control of his arms and he was unable to reach in any direction.

@alexmendez2880 Lol bruh, nobody even says boomer any more. You angry at a year old thread and using meme slang from 2019? Guaranteed you're an old perv trying to pass.

P Dee Apparently, the rest of the world disagrees with your assessment. But no worries, you have the right to remain bitter.
1
@saturnna467 eh, you probably haven't seen much of any kind of mental activity in your life.

@Junomaster2006 I agree. She made a brave and reasonable decision not to be intimidated by the police. Black people have often had to be brave.

@basketballaddict4300 1) Not even close. 2) The 2nd officer was doing nothing 3) Not if I was bigger than him, sitting on top of him, and had a friend.

@nicholasstream oof. Poor reading comprehension. You're responding to a point I didn't make.

@Decimalten The company's policy is certainly not referring to physical assistance but if an officer sends you on an errand or asks for information. It also doesn't apply when you're on a lunch break or not on shift & off-site (as she was)

@PANZERFAUST90 She probably wasn't really fired. These security companies act as temp agencies. When a location gets angry at one of their employees, they just relocate the employee to another job site. They call it "firing" the employee to appease the client but you pretty much can't get fired from these jobs.
