I can trace the Lord's Church back through 2000 years of history. I can read the early Bishops in their own words going all the way back to Saint Polycarp, Bishop of Smyrna. Any reasonable person, secular and religious will recognize he and the other Fathers, were most definitely "Catholic" in their thinking and theology because it's right there in black and white, in their own words; and also in who they were closely united to - other Catholic Bishops - most of whom ended shedding their blood for the Lord Jesus Christ and the only Church He founded. To discount or ignore their written testimony, and their martyrdom is a very serious thing, Mike. The Lord Jesus IS the Logos - He IS Reason and He expects you to utilize your reason and endeavor to earnestly test the claims of a Church that existed approximately 1500 years before Luther, Calvin, Henry VIII, et al, ever set foot on planet earth.
