  9.  @betofernandez5524  it was never parallel to the floor. It’s always been slightly angled up by a few degrees. It’s just now his elbow isn’t opening up when he lifts. And BTW Devon’s wrist and pronator doesn’t even move a bit while both Ermes and Levans drops and opens slightly.

  18. I haven’t heard anyone give an objective answer to why it’s illegal if the elbow is on the pad. Everyone says “it’s ugly” “it’s a move for pansies” etc. if you have to pin the arm to the pin pad to win and the elbow stays on the pad, why is it illegal?

  27.  @nickthetoycollector3360  he needs more mass and his body not to fail or break. That’s happened both times, bicep tear and then his back/body turning on him during prep. I personally think he would have done even better in fall of 2023 against Levan as he seemed healthier. He also had like a 1-2 month bout of pneumonia before his 2 month camp. Things haven’t aligned for him and they must align for him to do it.

  31.  @GhostDivisionBlitzkrieg Devon was barely 120 for that match. He was very thin and going into the match he didn’t look good IMO. Remember how flat and beat up his right arm looked when he arrived in Instanbul? He looks completely different now. Arm looks full.

  32. If your pronator gives a bit and arm angle opens up that much it’s a failed lift. Interesting that Devon can’t bicep curl a lot of weight but his arm barely opens up during this lift while Leo’s and for example even Ermes’ opens up. They both also drag/shrug the weight with their tricep ending up on top of their leg. This tells me that Devon actually has more applicable backpressure with pronation on the table.

But he’s been losing so why would Devon need to pull him? Same goes for Kamil with right arm. He just needs to pull Vitaly, rematch Ermes and maybe pull Jerry instead of Alex since Jerry smoked Alex.

  48. All riser lifts involve elbow flexion. In order to utilize rise on the table you apply elbow flexion. It’s the pressure on the rise that limits his ability to lift it. We know he can lift this weight with the pronation lift so it’s not an elbow flexion problem.
