  3.  @nomnom-an if you like at countries like Russia and parts of Africa you notice that having resources doesn't really give you that much power. Europe has its power because its a stack of rich countries who live in a large neighborhood so they get enough power combined to make China check itself at the door and be a good boy. Resources are cool but they are mostly a bonus.

  5. ​ @alexdaraujo honestly i do like the idea that threads doesnt lean so heavily into politics. Its nice to have a break from people who make their entire personality politics. My boss battle is trying to talk with my grandpa without him going on rants about chinese or communists or such.

  9. Cold fusion tends to be a great reporter. He doesn't do the minute by minute low accuracy reports but instead does a well researched combo when there is enough to report on. Love channels like this they are a treat compared to daily weekly outrage gossips of what you should be mad about today that other youtuber make.

  11.  @justahamsterthatcodes  i was in one as well but i quit it because he got views by making us triggered at the other side. Not i try my best to avoid politics at all its not effecting me at a hard level so it doesnt get my anger. Also i know youtube removed the public dislike counter to stop downvote bombing but the internets going to internet and they just look insecure by removinh the counter.

I know that threads is a copy cat but elon exposed himself as an ass so I'm just laughing while I watch him get hurt. Also isn't the biggest rule of republicans FREE MARKET or is that only a rule when they can take advantage of it?

  33. To be honest i think this is highly exgerated. Phones make you more social and provide more overall fun. It feels like a consequence of over bearing parents micromanaging their kids and telling them that their depression isnt from the bad state of the world but from phones.

Nothing wrong with hiring a bunch of engineers and scientists to make products in your companies name if you pay them good. Though when you pretend that you invented all of the stuff yourself it gets annoying.

  40. Same here, I do not want a smart car until it is functionally a self driving taxi that I own. I Like smart phones and such but at the same rate having to take your eyes off the road to interact with a touch screen is asking for an accident.

  44. Honestly at this rate unless the car drives itself to the point of being a taxi, I would be just fine driving it with an emp. All you need is a radio and unless your a trucker or on a road trip you do not need a gps. Cars are getting too high tech these days. You need an actual computer to repair them and I do not like the idea of it snitching on you. Or at least if the car will be a high tech snitch then self drive me to work so I can take a nap. Or pick me up some mcdonalds in the drive through (like picking up a prepaid order by having a staffer put it through the car window) so I don't have to pay door dash. Or pick up my kids from school and bring them to my job so we can go right to the park.

  48. To me its an amazing gadget that puts me in the future. Its bad parts are the f you price which i would actually pay if i had that kind of money. Also the battery is a joke but i wouldnt mind sitting on the couch with it plugged in so i could spend some good hours being a scifi movie character. But thankfully its the first generation so this is as bad as it will get and outside of the price and battery it looks amazing.
