Personally my issue with the 1 year is that after a month (especially in the start) we know whos involved and their political positions. Afterward it just feels like recycling the same conversations over and over again until the race is done. Its boring and annoying at the same time. What is worse is that election voting is put in a way were it sometimes takes a few days to count votes. Personally I just rather have mail in voting a week before election day so everyone can vote and we have the winner by 6am next day.

 @Fr00stee Same 4 weeks seems amazing. You do not need an entire year to see who you want to vote for.
