@arthurvangoch9335 yup also that companies try to look progressive while trying to dumb the problem on to you. Like gas companies asking you what you do to cut down your footprint. Or in the case of talking out of their ass for profit: apple claiming they cut down waste by selling you an iphone that has pretty but minimal packaging with only a usb charger. Only for their phones to backtrack on the eco statement by releasing a new model every year with the devices being rather challenging repair. Then even if you parts swap the new ones with other iphone parts you run into the issue where the iphone shuts down half the features because all the parts have custom serial numbers.
