  1. My problem with edgelord movies is not the "dark and mysterious" content. It is the fact that they always feel like a 13 year old wrote them because they feel very surface level. Like batman who kills people as dark and edgy, instead of a dark and edgy debate about if batman should kill people. Such as debating if 20 people killed by a villain was right, because the villain seemed to be taking steps to improve themselves and no longer seemed like a threat.
