Am I crazy but while I am 100% Team Ron, I totally find the Anthony character to be a delightful villain! I am both chuckling at what he said and finding him atrocious. Also brava to the supporting role of Kandye and the others (yes, even the thugs--although I'm MAD as heck with them and may they get their comeuppance). Of course, Justine, Lucy, and the Colonel perform very well as always. The story they come up with, so enthralling. I'm hoping Justine would come and save the day with Ron's gun...

And when he woke up, I hope Ron will realize his Passion for Justine and realize theirs is only One Life to Live then the two may elope!

I am speechless at the ending. It's taken that route :( I hope Ron is okay.

I am curious about this too! The movies I watched made it seem that while women can't 'control' their wealth, they were left with money from their families. Seeing that Justine came from the 'poorer' relatives of the Stephenson, I'm nervous that Lucy is so one-dimensional that due to their family's bankruptcy, they're more than happy to just push Justine off to more well-off/readiest suitor so that she wouldn't be their problem anymore since she does have 2 daughters to think of.

I don't know about Justine, perhaps there is Justine and a Ron. But yeah, I enjoy knowing Ben, Lucy, their daughters and Lucy's sister were real people in the 1820s. The Stephensons have a pretty interesting history and scandal from the tidbits that I found on wikipedia. They've not showed them yet, but I wonder if they're going to feature the two older sons characters of the Stephenson one day on this channel.
