  1. Melani Palowski should also be indicted for the attempted murder to Brandon. She was allegedly one of the 4/5 people who knew of Brandon's new address. When I watched that bodycam from Utah LE when Melani Palowski was trying to gaslight the Utah LE to trespass into Brandon's parents' house in the evening, her uncle: Alex Cox (the same guy who attempted to murder Brandon only days earlier) actually was lying in wait in his car only a few blocks away. I kept wondering why would he park quite a ways away from the house Melani tried to trespass into, what's going on here....I have a bad feeling if Utah LE didn't arrest Melani that evening for trespassing and DV, both Alex and Melani would have done something to harm Brandon's parents...thankfully, she was arrested so Alex's focus turned to bailing her out as soon as he could (from what I saw in the body came video anyway).

  3. I have a hard time believing this story also. I know they want to protect Holly Guess, one of the victims, since she willingly married a predator who was incarcerated. I'm just shocked that she would expose the guy to her children (and her children's friends) despite his background history and lie to her ex about this murderer-rapist for having clean background check. The tragedy that could've been prevented if the single mother of 3 young children would adhere to common sense (instead of 'love' or romantic notion) and not marry a child rapist (Turned murderer). Idk what's going on, did he not have to report to a parole officer, and how can a rapist (of a young victim) be allowed to be living in the same house with children who were about the same age of his victim.... I guess the county didn't know where he lived or whom he lived with, which is interesting in itself....

  4. Why didn't they want to process the evidence or investigate, it seems that there may be more than just murders happening in this house. There could be more victims, unless the police are involved somewhat and try to cover things up.

  8. The one with the longtime gf was the one they decided a mistrial on. 8-4 wanted to convict, but not unanimous so that one didn't pan out. Only 2 out of 3 rape convictions.

  11. For me there has been no big smoking gun, even the DNA evidence on JJ can easily be argued as transference. But like one of the guests said, what kind of a mother would cover up when her children were "missing." Also, she clearly was taking Tylee's and JJ's SS money too. If the kids are still around, of course, she'd want to be putting those $$ for the wellbeing for her children. But nope, she used those for her own benefit. We all know what's going on, the unsaid is that's because she knew the children were not alive anymore. That's the only big thing I 'take' out of the whole thing, its' not exactly a clean smoking gun though. And it's even flimsier with Tammy Daybell's death, tbh. Not surprised that the defense doesn't feel the need to present anything. I sure hope the prosecution would deliver a really good closing argument connecting all those dots for the jury. I sure hope that she will be found guilty.

I don't have a daughter, but here in the US, they sometimes would go sleepover/hang out with each other too, esp. in teen years (heck, I'm not born in the US, but I had my share of sleepovers at friends' house too at that age 14-16 when I got here). The girls have known each other a long time, so they trust the parent of one of them, who just happened to be a sex offender. I sure know my parents didn't look up my friends' parents to see if they're sex offenders, and that's the same with these people. They trust them...and it's sad this happens.

  14.  @julesybethmedlini  Sure, but that's due to him being careless: fingerprints, cellphone pinging, etc etc. I think he's the guy who gets his hands dirty, as in, he killed those children. He probably tried to kill Tammy but failed so Chad had to take that into his own hands. He's dead, and only his DNA left all over the murder. But I have zero doubt that Chad and Lori were involved. Alex wouldn't just murder the children without the Ok from his bosses. Since there's little DNA connection to Lori, this is why I'm a little scared the jury will let her off, since her case, imo, is harder to try than Chad.

  15. My guess is the house is rented under his wife's name. It's not that unusual to do this, I mean, I've done that for my partner when his credit rating as well as rent history were not good. Used my name to rent a place.

  17. I heard from an interview that this is the case, but I'd say "allegedly." Idk if it's a true occurrence or made up so that Holly Guess won't sound so 'badly' for basically giving access to a violent rapist to her kids and friends, although she ended up a murder victim too.

I can easily know why Lori texted about JJ, not because she cared, it's because she wanted to bitch/complain more about Charles being a "horrid" individual that he didn't even think about his own adoptive son, but rather leaving everything to his sister on his insurance.

  23.  @jonnylumberjack6223  According to the mother of Holly Guess, she knew about his past and about the crime. But allegedly, he hired an actor to pretend to be his rape victim. Then again, it's either she (Holly Guess) lied to her mother or her mother is lying now during the interview so that her daughter's memory is not going to be tainted for basically letting a violent rapist access to her children and her children's friends. I've also heard interviews with the grandmother (Holly Guess' mom) saying how controlling McFadden was, etc, borderline abusive. But she decided to stay with him and risk her children...her oldest is about the same age of his victim too. SMH.

The thing is, she claimed that she couldn't move at all and thought that he might have given her drug when he allegedly SA-ed her. Her word was firm that she was raped, and it was not consensual despite the allegation that she claimed to be a college student.

  25. Also, they need to follow the $$. They knew that Lori has been receiving SS $$ for her children. I wonder if they look at her spending. Is there a consistent monthly payment or transfer to unexplained expense? If she really thought her kids were taken care of by some believers (one of those 144k), she would want to send some $$ or allowance. Plus the SS $$ is for them. If she just spent it all for herself, well..we know that she knows her kids are not around anymore/killed and she's totally complicit.

  26. You're right. I'm a little worried about the jury and what they think. I really don't want to see another Casey Anthony. The only "evidence" I noticed of is on her indifference and lying toward people when asked about the location of her children. As in, you'd think Lori, as a mom would care about her children's wellbeing (let's say we all believe she thinks JJ and Tylee were with someone else, b/c of what Chad/Alex told her). I'd want to see any of any exist of her communication (Text/calls) after Tylee and JJ were not seen anymore. I also want to know is there any transfer of $$ to an account for JJ or Tyle? Of course not. I also wonder how long Lori kept Tylee's and JJ's phone on (pay monthly fee for those). Most mothers in their right mind, would want to know or keep in contact with her children who are away from her. Plus, these children are not adults yet, they still need her. So yeah, that's the most obvious of her being complicit and being a part of the murders operation. For me, the hardest to prove is Lori conspiring to murder Tammy thou, although we all can kind of guess that if she's willing/complicit to have her children murdered because they're "dark"--I'm sure as the 'goddess' she's known any operation against Tammy.

  29.  @diana.m34  I actually heard there was more DNA discovery on this case. But since the discovery just happened a couple of weeks before trial, they wouldn't use it. UGH. I wonder if that DNA discovery will tie Lori and Chad firmly with the case.

  31. That's very specific, like...they really knew. If I ever wrote a letter to my son, I'd be like, 'I love you and I'll do anything I can to help you.' Pretty generic statement of love and care but not that freaking specific, to that point of breaking him out of jail...how in the world?!?! Or burying a body..WTH. If this were written pre-murder, the writing would be like 'Be safe. I love you.' Not...describing breaking him out of jail, burying a body of a person he killed, etc. WTF

  33.  @user-Tn2Dn  I heard that 4-5 other people knew, I'm assuming his parents and possible siblings or his business partner plus his wife (since they're good friends of his). Melanie is the only 'anomaly' in that list, as she's the ex and they've had a rocky relationship per custody issue.

  34.  @raymondheckard234  That is a possibility or if this in OR, due to the high cost of rent, people actually rent out their backyard shed (no toilet, no kitchen, or makeshift, no heat, not even electricity lol) for 400-500 bucks a month, but of course, 'under the table' agreement. So they're not really "renting" legally.
