  1. I totally understand why the French people hated her, but she didn't deserve her end (and the disgusting accusations against her on trial). I also felt horribly for her children's fates. I wish there were another end to that. Saying all those, but I also empathized greatly toward the people who were already downtrodden and angry, all living for a long time in social and financial injustice. Suffering through hunger, sickness. Let's just say, their anger and hatred were justified, but like any other, they needed tangible figures to hate and she had been one for awhile before her end.
