American voters tend to look in their pockets during presidential elections and vote based on "right now." And Bidenomics is clearly his campaign theme. George W. Bush had 90% popularity ratings but he lost to Clinton due to a recession. Biden's majorities in the key states were wafer-thin in 2020. You had states with 8 million people where Biden won by 20,000 votes. If the high interest rates cause a slowdown in the job markets as many predict... we might have a disaster in 2024. Trump could run on "I'm a crook... but good for the economy" and succeed.
