  1. It is a disgusting crime. Putin has done such things in the past. But the Western moral outrage is puzzling to me. Mohammed bin Salman has done much worse but Biden is perfectly willing to embrace him. Israel military is also torturing Palestinians on a daily basis. The internal security services under Ben-Givir are sadistic to the extreme. Then we have Julian Assange who will certainly die in an American prison cell one day. Washington has no moral authority left. Geopolitically speaking, this will be news in Europe but not elsewhere. Lavrov has been in India and Putin is going to Turkey. Like it or not, Russia is not a rogue state. At some point in time, we need to recognise this reality and ask how we can coexist with Russia on the same planet, no matter their political system.
