  2. As a European I was shocked at the level of micromanagement of citizens in AUS and NZ. I thought our countries were bad and had ridiculuos levels of beaurocracy but they easily took the cake. The HSE rules basically let you abandon any common sense approach. Need a certification to change a light bulb or plug in a cable. I thought at first my colleagues were joking ..

  3. In NZ somehow things went horribly wrong. I'm not from that region of the planet but are the differences between Aus and NZ large enough for this not to happen in Aus?
