  11.  @mvnorsel6354  Baghdad and Kabul are not that bad (I've not been in Mogadishu either). A lot of places with a better reputation are actually much worse (even South African cities in my experience).

  16.  @zzzowie  Kabul e.g. is much safer than Cape Town or say (the worst i've ever been) Port Moresby. One can walk around town alone easily but try doing that in CPT or Moresby alone .. good luck.
