  1. There are simply a lot of other infectious diseases "competing" for the same vulnerable patients. Before you're that vulnerable to get a serious COVID infection in Africa, you'd most likely have been taken out by another disease (malaria, tuberculosis, parasites, etc.) well before that.

  2.  @ms-jl6dl  Nothing genius about that. For the same reason cancer and dementia rates are low in Africa. All diseases of advanced age. You have to make it to that age though.
