  1.  @kblkbl  A lot of what you wrote is the state of knowledge of the 60s and 70s and has since been surpassed. The 2.5g/kg number is pretty much what most Olympic teams and Ironman athletes and pro cyclists go for. It might seem high but as a percentage of caloric intake it isn't. But if you do Irondistance events you will need it to stomach the training load. If you had even 1 or 2 years of experience in this area you'd know better.

  11. Isn't India just like that in that regard? Lots of Indian women do exactly that overseas but then at some point might go back home and get married as a virgin to an unsuspecting man.
