  2.  @redf7209  In the end, German industrial capacity was decidedly not reduced (more in 1945 than in 1938) and Bomber Harris and Churchill deliberately targeted mass bombardments on towns - they knew the most likely victims would be civilians. The Blitz was nothing in comparisons to the Firestorms of Dresden and Hamburg.

  3.  @redf7209  And on the other side, the Blitz had the same idea behind it. In any case, bombing civilians is a war crime and if Germans were rightfully prosecuted I would expect the ones who rode the "moral and civilised" agenda adhere to that too.
