1. Ukraine isn't Russian territory. Ukraine is independent and can chose to ally with whomever they like. Russia cannot veto such things. 2. Ukraine wasn't about to enter Ukraine.

Ukraine did not start the war in 2014. However, Russia annexed Crimea illegally - making them the aggressor.

Nobody wants this war to agree any longer. Ukraine doesn't want absolute victory. Ukraine wants a victory that will leave it intact. That would mean territorial integrity, a solution for their security concerns and some way to get aid to rebuilt. It will only get those if it is victorious.

1. The US never destroyed half the planet. 2. NATO never destroyed the entire Middle East. The only Middle Eastern nations that were attacked in any way during the past decades are Libya, Iraq and Syria - and in Syria it is primarily Russia and Iran doing the destruction. Most Middle Eastern nations haven't seen war in decades! 3. Serbia was genociding people during the war... Just go to Bosnia and ask them... Srebrenica anyone? 4. Long oppressed people of Donbass? Donbass wasn't oppressed though...
