  2. Please check your sources. 1. The plebiscite was only held in BW. Not in all of Germany. As someone from NRW, I had no say. 2. That is false. The motion was passed in the entirely BW-held referendum. 3. The stress tests did not come to the same conclusion. 4. Munich is much more of an end-point than Stuttgart.... Munich is at the German periphery whereas Stuttgart is not. 5. There was no space to built more tracks... And then, travel on those old tracks takes long. The new tunnels with more tracks are way faster. Please, get your facts straight.

  13. Stuttgart isn't the only affected region. As BW is a main sponsor of the project and beneficiary, the people of Mannheim should have a say too. And maybe, just maybe, protestors need to realise that protests need to run orderly and not against court rulings. Police had the right to clear the area. Follow police....

  17.  @SomePotato  The right to peacefully assemble, yes. But it isn’t a right to thwart the law. The main escalation was when police came to cut down some trees as per court allowed it. The protestors tried to stop this. They were told by police to leave the area as they needed to prepare for the construction start. They didn’t follow the police order. Sorry but demonstrations have to follow police orders.
