@bruh This is freedom. If a woman wants to pursue this life you have no right to forbid her or to stop her. As for miserable - I have met housewifes that were miserable too. As for true religion - religions are always about faith. Actually, people in Christianity don't have to go through a priest... And not through cows either. Atheism is not a religion... If you don't have a God, you are a slave? Lol... Atheism is no less irrational than religion - you say nothing came out of nothing, but where does God come from? Who created God because according to you; something must be created.... Oh I know now you will say that God always was there - hence allowing yourself a viewpoint (that not everything must be created) which you deny atheists (everything must have a creator). Why does life have to have a purpose? And if there is a purpose, I believe there is a better one than just "worship one God". That's how I see it. Bye.

@bruh As long as nobody inhibits their choice, I am fine with it. I think you are talking about catholics. Not sure whether they have to. But I think it is similar to Hajj which is also said to cleanse you from your sins. Hindus don't give divine status to cows. They are seen as holy and sacred, but not divine. But who created the creator? It is disingenuous to say that there must be a creator and then just accept without question that one (singular) God must have done it. And I don't think it is perfect. I think we developed by accident through evolution over billions of years. I also don't see a big purpose in life. Certainly not one that we were created to pray and wait for our death. There are many greater purposes - to have children, discover, explain the world. Find knowledge, leave a better world behind for children. But as I said, I don't subscribe to this purpose view. I think we are here but that is it. I certainly doubt that we were created to worship one God based on Arabic tribal costums and ideals. If there is a God, why would he care what I do and what I believe in. If this God is so almighty, why would I have to engage in rituals to prove my allegiance? Why would a God care about my lovers and be enraged if I were homosexual? Why would I be punished for my lack of faith? Faith isn't something I can just have; should I really be punished for my thoughts? Eternally even though I have lived a good life? Would that really be fair or just? Given our short time here on earth, would any eternal punishment be really just?

@broboy9408 And who are they to say this? Islam is someone who believes in a single God and Mohammed as a prophet... That is the most basic requirement.

Thing is that we also read the comments here and many are not able to understand our fear towards Islam.

I have a statistical life expectancy of 83 years; I have done a quarter of it now. I have achieved a very comprehensive education and to my knowledge have not done anything that would need punishment. I am a law-abiding citizen working in healthcare. I think I made a difference for some people, maybe small but nothing bad. Do I deserve eternal punishment?
