True, but pilots don't even get a degree. They get a license to fly and that is about it. There is a very limited market outside passenger traffic for pilots with their skills.

@zaramuhx Yes, there is that. And just that. Your entire skill is focused solely on the commercial airline industry. Your skills developed won't be of good use in other areas. If I study anything related to computers I can work everywhere with computers. Pilots flying commercial jets have no other qualifications. And that is a problem.

100k for Lufthansa as an entry level? That may be in the 70s but today, no way. A beginning Lufthansa Pilot makes 65,000 maximum. And he has to pay back Lufthansa for his education.

@Mike25654 And as I said, no entry level pilot makes 100k. Plus, most people educated at Lufthansa aren’t taken over by Lufthansa
