  5. Actually, there was a lot of investment into Africa (because it was their own territory). Many african nations solely rely on colonial infrastructure.

  7.  @maheshdave8012  Germany never had significant colonies. We just invested in tech and sciences and modernised, whereas China 1000 bc had the same state 1800 ad.

  8.  @maheshdave8012  Yes, Britain did a lot of bad stuff. However, colonisation ended 50-60 years ago, some countries made it, others didn't.
