  3.  @EnvectusHDgaming  Counties aren't equal though. Manhattan is one NY county and has more than a million people. Petroleum county in Montana doesn't even have a thousand if I am correct. Vast spaces of the US are barely populated. If you look at the population density of Arizona or Nevada for that matter, most of the state has a population density of 1 per square mile.
