10:40 thats what I always said. 3 branches with so many different needs require different designs. The Air Force wouldn't be constraint to weight limits and size limits as much as the US Navy and Marine Corps would be. They would also be primarily tasked to fight Air Superiority - I would say that they could need a stronger engine (preferably are 2) and a bigger wing - allowing better turns and more fuel for combat operations deep into enemy territory. The Marine Corps would need something small like the F35 B - I think that the F35 is best as Marine Corps jet. The Navy would probably prefer a dual engine jet with huge range and large wings, again with size constraints. I think one could compromise a jet for B and C but the Air Force should have been given a different jet to built according to their need. They are the ones needing to replace most craft and they should get a true air force multirole fighter to complement F22. Something like a Rafale in stealthy.

I heard the same story, it was U32 of the German marine.

Great video but can I ask; why do you make only videos about American things? I mean ESA sends a very similar probe to Jupiter named JUICE.
2
Unfortunately you would lose a lot of energy by converting electricity to hydrogen and back.
2
I do. Or at least a drastically reduced carbon emission
2
Electricity prices generally rise. Actually many renewables have lower prices now. We simply need storage and excess energy. There are plans for large molten salt cavers to keep heat and therefore energy in the salt caverns of northern Germany.
2
@awatt Yep. Probably because the Brits actually invested into their colonies.
2
Actually some nations in Europe run entirely on renewable electricity. Installing more capacity is needed though for hydrogen and E-Fuels.
2
It‘s probably what they could get at a reasonable price and secondly; all the more data that a 50 MP camera creates needs to be send down
2
It is high voltage DC power transmission which is the international standard for long distance power transmission of huge quantities....
2
Because that’s pretty false. Plenty of innovation happens in Europe. If you watch this video you might completely forget that Europe already launched a probe (JUICE) to Jupiter last year, also solar-powered.

The amount of resources extracted from Africa during colonialism is overrated…
1
@ggoddkkiller1342 15 million people died more than 100 years ago. How much was extracted? How much was exported. If you would know statistics you would know that modern extraction technologies provide more ore, more ressources in a year than it did 120 years ago…
1
@ggoddkkiller1342 Actually you are the joke… Gold has little to no intrinsic value and as a matter of fact, most gold in Europe did not come from Africa. Check out statistics for gold production and do some math. Most gold we use currently has been mined after colonialism… I know it is easy for Africans to blame all their problems on Europe but that is neither true or fair
1
@ggoddkkiller1342 Africa could not capitalise in that time lol. Even without colonialism, many nations at that time did not capitalise despite the immense amount of wealth they had... And you seem to think that without Europe Africa would be Wakanda...
1
If you leave things to the free market, some things will never materialise.
1
True. Europe should be able to use it too but I think Europe would do well to provide northern Africa with good loans to built a modern electric grid first for desalination. So that agriculture can be expanded.
1
Because we buy them
1
They do though. US DoE started production again
1
German subs can do it too
1
@kevinguo3127 Well, true. I wrote it in my last abstract that they need a multirole fighter, similar to the Rafale which has been designed a true multirole fighter. Still, the Air Force would need to secure air superiority first.
1
@mobiuscoreindustries I think the Air Force would need a Rafale style plane. They could hence replace the F15E, F16, A10 without too much trouble. (That is not to say that Rafale is only alternative, I simply use it because it is a true multirole fighter, unlike my own country's Eurofighter which is foremost air superiority fighter)
1
1. When did he refer to the Sahara as European or American property? 2. You should be disappointed - after all this could be a very nice jobs and export opportunity for you. We buy electricity that you produce while employing Moroccan workers. 3. Nope, that's just you trying to make a controversy out of nothing.
1
Because the Europeans would pay for the entire construction and exports to Europe bring cash
1
You must have very little understanding of physics and electricity if you don’t know the advantages of HVDC… Smarty, a grid is better than only local. Because you have redundancy…
1
Absolutely correct. That could use the existing grid in Europe. But the problem is that hydrogen creation is darn inefficient and they would need a lot of solar power and plants on the coasrt.
1
The biggest problem is political. Nobody in Europe in their right mind should make the electricity and power supply dependent on North Africa. It just is not stable enough, sorry my African friends. We Europeans should generally aim to become self-sufficient in energy supply. We have Spain and Portugal for solar and other nations for other renewable energy. We may could import hydrogen from Africa and should definitively invest into a large solar power industry there but primarily for African nations energy demands. Those could supply much needed electricity to Africa, power to supply desalination plants which would serve artificial irrigation (with innovative israeli drop irrigation technology). Stops desertification and rural decline.
1
@TheMagicJIZZ They may can kiss the Moroccan state but there are extremists in the uncontrollable deserts. And such a location would be a very, very easy infrastructure to hit.
1
Reverse engineering a plane design is difficult and would be really expensive.
1
@gunarsmiezis9321 Well, not necessarily. Reverse engineering means you have to completely scramble the plane into parts and copy each and everything without any idea why this has been built like that. Reverse engineering a plane has always led to worse performances.
1
Because the F22 also cannot do all missions. Bombing with this thing is costly and not a great return.
1
False. Africa was not rich before colonialism.
1
@LT89NL Yes, I think that in a real combat situation, this can get very ugly for the US Navy
1
@coyote5735 Those torps can be controlled. For such a valuable target, they would use guided torpedoes
1
U32 can do the same.
1
@paperweight57 Albania for example. Norway gets most of their electricity from from hydroelectric power. Britain has managed days without any coal power. They use nuclear though. Still, we need to get rid of carbon if only to get less dependent on foreign sources (That includes Uranium too).Never ever should we be put into a situation where we are dependent on some countries for energy.
1
@paperweight57 Oh no, we cannot use 95% hydroelectric. But what we can do is a combination of solar and wind. With solar modules on houses and other real estates, more wind turbines and an investment into electric capacitators we can produce enough energy for ourselves. With the rise of the true european grid, we have enough capacity in the future. Norway is deffo not a third world country. Anyway, we need to diversify. A mix of solar, nuclear, wind and geothermal.
1
If it is financed by Europe. And exporting to Europe means hard cash… Ah, they love working with China because China just builts things…
1
Thorium is an easy way to produce fission material for nukes.
1
@faragar1791 Actually, the A10 would be perfect for that job. They use the same missiles and bombs but the A10 is far cheaper.
1
@brianburgess3231 didn’t want to answer you but the OP. And he said almost all in America… which is pretty false.
1
RTGs can be great but otoh they are insanely expensive and solar works fine at Jupiter. We have enough nukes
1
@chapter4travels Actually Germany gets more electricity from renewables nowadays. Although we only use 20% of primary energy from renewables.
1
Where in Genesis do they talk about Europa?
