  1.  @silverpleb2128  France wasn't right and the EF wasn't wrong. Germany doesn't operate bombers and the Typhoon, if upgraded, would be capable to replace it.

  3. It takes decades to replace a fighter jet. Starting now, they can replace in the 2040s when the EF would be a 60 year design.

  5.  @keelfly  Germany did not split from any weapons programm recently, while the French left the Eurofighter programm for example. The German version of the Eurofighter will be upgraded, the Brits were faster because they already retired their Tornados

  6.  @keelfly  France split because they wanted the majority of the manufacturing and basically an entirely different airplane, use a subpar engine and make a carrier adapted design which would serve no use for the other 4 nations in the programm. Get yourself educated please.
