That's very much patriotic BS from you. 1. I would love to know where you get the 60% parts, avionics and proprietary technology number from. 2. Boeing sources a lot of their parts abroad. Huge portions of their 787 production was outsourced to Japan and Italy. 3. Yeah no. May I remind you about flyby wire in commercial passenger aircraft? Glass cockpits? Carbon fiber?

They aren't banned. They aren't certified yet

They are though - and don't forget the truly massive subsidies that Washington State etc give Boeing. It is very much balanced in that regard. And it should be noted that the KC-46 deal was a massive favour for Boeing as the Air Force actually wanted the ready-available A330 MRTT:

If Comac applies, they will.

Since there was apparently no big market for the A380, that loss is negligible. The 777X doesn't sell great either.

1) I would love to see your source and more importantly, are you including military aviation into that? If so, that is cheating ;) 2) Given their military sector which majorly pulls them up. But overall, Boeing in 2022 had sales equivalent to 66 billion USD. Airbus had some 58 billion Euro = which is about 63 billion Euros including all their sectors as well. So the difference isn't all that big. 3) Again, are you including military aircraft production? And can I get your source? 4) So? Boeing buys stuff all the time. McDonnell Douglas fyi? 5) We say that Boeing has not had a couple of good years...
