@isaacgeorge7288 And that is the problem. 2026 will go to North America, fair enough. But 2030? Don't tell me it is fair for South America to get 3 games... And Africa and Europe share the rest. Each continent deserves the full cup, not just a few games so the Saudis can host faster.

@isaacgeorge7288 Yet how can you claim that three matches hosted in South America in a cup with well over a hundred matches would justify the rotation that would exclude them from bidding for another decade? Don’t you want to see how unfair this is to South America?

@isaacgeorge7288 That’s your great answer? Life isn’t fair so just ignore this? They can afford it - you don’t need to splash 200 billion like in Qatar. The infrastructure is largely there already.

@isaacgeorge7288 Not as expensive as completely building up infrastructure and definitely doable over 10 years. What I want it easy - Saudi Arabia to stay in line and wait for their turn when the Asian confederation should host next time in the rotation. By rights they should be the last. Those deals only show corruption and is insulting to all other confederations.

@isaacgeorge7288 No, I hate entitlement. And I hate how Fifa twists the rules so that the Saudis can get the cup. Nobody in their right mind would consider three games in South America a disqualification to be eligible for the 2034 cup. And that scheme is what annoys me. They should wait their turn just like everyone else has to. Not deliberately pay Fifa off so that they can skip ahead two cups. Europe, Africa and South America each deserve a full tournament before the Asians should get it again. That would only be right and fair.

@isaacgeorge7288 Cause they already had a world cup in 2022. Fairness would dictate that before the Arabs, another few regions get the cup. Giving South America three games only is an insult. Sharing European and African Cup and South America is just an insult to all three. Each continent deserves to have one played on their turf completely. And even if Asia is awarded, East Asia would be first in line, or better said, should be first in line because they last hosted in 2002. No reason why the world cup should be played in the same region twice in 12 years.
