  1.  @lindseyhinson112  Nobody stops you to be as religious as you guys want but I for once don't want that religious crap influence government policy. Government has to be tolerant of every faith or non-believers. And yes, nobody on the dem side wants to ban religion or get rid of your freedom.

His „extraordinary guilt of the crime“ however rules out parole after 15 years; the earliest anyone with a life sentence in Germany can apply (!) for parole. But he can apply for parole and according to the interpretation of our high court (a little like SCOTUS) anyone has a right to freedom „which is more than freedom to just go out and die of age or sickness weeks later“. So one day he will go free. Later than 15 years - the average is iirc 20 years.

  3.  @lindseyhinson112  No Madam, please educate yourself. The notion that we democrats want to ban religion is nothing but fiction! You could say "merry christmas" during the Obama administration and you had your churches... Biden is someone with a strong catholic faith. What we want is that churches and religion are not as influential in decision making processes as they are now. They have no right; they get some tax excemption in return for apolitical activities (something that they broke for a long time now). Yes, God has no place in government because your God may not be my God or that of my neighbour. No religion should be preferred by government and the only way to make that clear is by not favouring religion in the first place. Whatever you do in your private life is your own matter as long as it does not infringe my rights but keep it to the non-governmental parts of society and do not force your believes onto others. If you don't want an abortion that is fine too but you have 0 right to make the decisions for someone else. Democrats aren't pro-abortion, we are pro-choice. I would never want to abort either yet I realise my point may not be the point of another. As for gun control; we limit car licenses to those who passed a driving test as a prove of skill. Why should this not apply to a tool designed to kill quickly and efficiently? Nobody wants to forbid you guns but I don't want them in the hands of criminals, mentally ill and those irresponsible. Guns make our lives more violent and complicated. Yes, it shows. Republicans sometimes seem to try to pursue a theocracy (you guys hate the Iranians because they were successful before you sharing a great many values actually...) in the USA. Right now you have a man who is a pathological liar, who incited the violence in DC and does not accept the result of the democratic election. Please spare me with your morality, you have no moral high ground to stand on as long as you stand with Donald Trump. So hypocritical.
