This includes Air Force personnel that repairs and refuels, submariners that would be of no use in Ukraine... the active duty force of the Russian army is 290,000 troops. And some need to cover the large Russian landmass. 2. 74 warships looking silly in front of the Ukrainian land war... 3. How many of those tanks are outdated models that won't survive an hour in a modern war full with ATGMs. 4. How much of this artillery is generally in usable condition?
