Not in the next decade but never say never.

@twguy69 most likely when you are dead and according to his beliefs, you land in hell or whatever because you didn’t believe. Well, another illogical thing; you can’t enforce believe and any God worth worshiping would not punish me for my disbelief.

@robert7203 I am agnostic - I don’t know whether a God / Gods exist or not. What I know is that if there are some beings like Gods, I highly doubt they are like religions imagine.

Good luck and I hope you can live freely without having to hide

@bvc1922 Not always possible. Many countries have restrictions on immigrants; his atheist beliefs will not help him if he does not have a job lined up for him or can apply for a student visa etc. And there are reasons closer to home. A job, a family, friends?

Better than fairytales

Actually most religions continue to grow as populations grow. Only Buddhism will see a decline thanks to low birth rates and higher death rates. According to Pew Research, conversions balance each other pretty much.

@humzaqureshi1391 God can neither be proven or disproven. But life doesn’t necessitate a God. Plus, if we establish we need Godly help to exist, how can God come from nothing?
2
@robert7203 I don’t understand what you mean… I do enjoy books, that’s right. I don’t think they are divine revelations though and I don’t base my life on their supposed wisdoms.
2
@robert7203 I am not some 20 year old kiddo... I have seen a fair share of life and precisely this made me an agnostic...
2
@Youtube..Enjoyer So therefore breaking a rule. If you ridicule us for believing nothing cannot come from nothing, you can't just say "but God existed before the universe". Hypocritical.
2
@Youtube..Enjoyer Something cannot come from nothing yet God can exist anyhow… That’s a conundrum that you ignore. If nothing can come from nothing, God can’t exist from nothing as well. You saying he just „is“ is hypocritical when you don’t allow the universe to just „be“ without a God.
2
@Youtube..Enjoyer You don’t see the irony, you don’t get the point. What happens before the Big Bang is unknown because our physics currently cannot explain it.
2
@Youtube..Enjoyer Actually it is a common misconception. Scientists can point to a beginning of sorts - but not necessarily the universe but only the universe as we know it. Our physics currently do not allow a description of what preceded the big bang or whether that was a beginning. As for the irony, you really do not see it. I can’t make it any simpler for you. You: „Nothing can come from nothing“. Me: „Ok, so who created God“. You: „No, God created everything and was always there“. Me: „But didn’t you just say nothing can come from nothing“? You: „Everything needs a cause. Except God, he just is“. Me: „So atheists believing in something can come from nothing are stupid because that can’t happen but you who believes in God is right because God is exempt to the rule that nothing can come from nothing“. You: „Yes, because I said so, my rules!

@yyremix2035 The reverse is also true - "There is no evidence that God exists"...
2
@nirvanic3610 Yeah. It’s us that is illogic, not the people who claim to hear voices from heaven (go check psychiatric wards - they are full with people like this) and who then proceed to send the message through some books…. So if nothing can come from nothing where does God come from?
2
Doubt it but I would hope so

Islam is growing due to birth rates... Not because people so love it. Most are born into the faith, the growth is the result of the below-average living conditions and low developmental status in many islamic nations. And in many nations there isn't an option to declare oneself irreligious or atheist or agnostic. Hence demographers just estimate that anyone born to muslim parents will remain muslim...
1
@harambey You are only shifting the aspect of creation. Because, who created the creator? And anyway, logic tells me it is highly unlikely an omnipotent God would only communicate with us through long dead messengers by writing books...
1
@rehan4223 Then you could be classified as "theist". Believes in a creator but not in religion as man made. That's my view as well.
1
@theeagle9052 You don’t get the essence of my argument.
1
@midget420 You mean an apparently immortal being that comes to gift us our christmas gifts? Yeah sure, we can't 100% he doesn't exist but there is little evidence to suggest he does.
1
@yyremix2035 Sure, that could work. Leave me alone and I leave you alone. If you wanna fast, pray, do pilgrimage etc… and do other rituals… be my guest, you are a free person with free will. But don’t force me to do it, don’t make government your henchman to discriminate against those who don’t follow. A secular and libertarian society. With equality and justice for everyone.
1
@omar...4250 And if the universe needs a creator, who created the creator? After all you just forbade the whole „out of nothing“, this applies to God too.
1
@omar...4250 I actually have proof my 7th grandfather exists. Old family records tracing back until 1832. He gotta be in there. But who created the creator? If you forbid the concept of „nothing out of nothing“, how can there be a creator? And then, why is it Allah? Why not the Hindu gods? I mean, why a single God when there are so many pairs of everything?
1
Since when do atheists belief this? Go get educated
1
And just how many times did God allow the aircraft to fail? Often enough.
1
In that case religions wouldn't have a right to protesylise and preach their religion; because who gives them the right? Atheists have the same rights as religious people. Not more, not less. And many religious people punish those of other or no faith...
1
@nirvanic3610 So God can come from nothing… You can try and circumvent it as much as you like - you still require something to be there when according to you nothing can come from nothing. And then we are not even discussing whether our human ideas about God are actually remotely accurate or completely false. Personally I think I could accept a creator if there would be evidence but that better be real evidence and not some stories and so-called books of revelation.
1
Ah, I heard all those answers before. Most of them lean very heavy on extravagant interpretations. Tell me, why were those "facts" not discovered by scholars but by scientists?
1
Death doesn't make me crazy. I don't want to die yet but I hold no fear of death.
1
And to exist solely to worship a deity? And that is a better reason for existing?
1
@johnlaaapsm1647 I certainly don't know where we come from. I just don't believe an almighty being that created everything would choose to communicate himself only through select people using books....
1
We don't know. But where did God came from?
1
@Euro.Patriot I know. Their reasoning is one they crucify us for - we don’t know shit about the origin of life but we don’t invent invisible omnipotent beings.

Naik is prosecuted for terrorism charges… I would not trust a guy like him
